SW Music Education Services is run by Jude Cummins who has over 20 years experience in Music Education. 
She began her career as a Secondary Music teacher at a school in Plymouth where she enjoyed ten years of teaching Music and Drama at KS3 and Music up to GCSE and A-Level. 
Jude then went on to set up her own private teaching business in Torbay teaching Cello, Piano and Music Theory to children and adults, whilst also working as a Music Tutor with Plymouth Youth Music Service. Her breadth of knowledge and experience in the classroom allowed her to introduce a variety of instruments and Musical experiences to Primary children across the city. 
After having her daughters, Jude became interested in working with very young children and in 2020 she gained her Certificate for Music Educators in Early Childhood Music. 
Jude continued to work with Plymouth Youth Music Service as a Music consultant within the core team. Through her role she supported schools across Plymouth with their Music curriculum and lead a team of Music tutors in delivering high quality First Access, Individual and Small group tuition and Music projects and workshops. She led Music CPD programmes for Music tutors, school staff and Early Years practitioners. She also delivered the Music input for Devon Primary SCITT. 
With a firm belief that everyone is Musical, Jude has a passion for supporting adults, particularly those who work with children, in embarking on a journey to discover their Musical self.
