
First Access
Our First Access provision supports schools in implementing the Government’s National Plan for Music Education. It is a 30 week, whole class ensemble programme that provides all children with the opportunity to learn to play a Musical instrument.
The programme incorporates Music planning and CPD for the class teacher which is bespoke to the needs of the class teacher and school. Singing is also an integral part of First Access sessions.

60 minute sessions (includes setup and instrument tuning before the session)
Cost: is £400 per term (Based on 10 sessions), or £1,200 per year (Based on 30 sessions across the year)
A range of instruments including Ukulele, Djembes, Samba, Gamelan, Taiko, Steel Pans
Instruments need to be already in the school or be booked in advance through Devon Music Education Hub
